The challenge

The program needed an opening experience that did more than introduce the theme. Participants had to move quickly from arriving as individuals to communicating, sharing resources, solving problems, and working as a team.

The response

Ennovation Group designed Explorers Club as a fast-paced cooperative tabletop game. Teams of up to eight search for supplies, complete individual and group challenges, and recover 12 map pieces that reveal the club’s secret location. There are no turns, so everyone participates at once and success depends on communication, coordination, and shared problem-solving.

Why this format

Simultaneous cooperative play was used so the group could not succeed through one dominant participant or a sequence of individual turns. The experience makes communication and resource sharing necessary from the first minute.

The experience

  • Adventure-themed card kit with supply, action, challenge, and map cards
  • Simultaneous play for teams of up to eight
  • Individual and whole-team challenges
  • Twelve-piece map that reveals the Explorers Club location
  • Mobile instructions delivered through 7taps microlearning
  • QR code and NFC access at the point of play

What changed

The game gets people talking, moving, sharing resources, and solving problems within minutes. It establishes the adventure theme, raises the energy in the room, and gives facilitators a productive foundation for the leadership work that follows.
